Nature and Surrealist Tattoos
I am Jade Lomax, my pronouns are she/her, I am a tattoo artist and fine artist. I specialise in illustrative colour tattoos and have been tattooing since 2009. My work reflects my love of nature, especially animals and the Australian bush. My tattoo work blends elements of botanical illustration, psychedelia, and surrealism with sharp outlines.
I find inspiration through immersing myself in nature and can be found camping and dancing in the bush regularly. I also find inspiration in my everyday life and interests which include drinking tea, walking my puppos, being in the garden, getting funky, visiting a gallery and listening to music. Currently, I am completing a bachelor’s degree majoring in Visual Arts and have a regular art practice.
