FLT Tattoo Studio is a private, appointment only studio in the Newcastle suburb of Hamilton in NSW, founded by Eddy-Lou in 2015.
FLT acknowledges the Awabakal people who are the traditional custodians of this land where we live, learn and work. We acknowledge that this land was stolen and sovereignty was never ceded. We pay our respect to the Elders past and present and extend that recognition to their descendants. FLT is committed to honouring the Australian Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander peoples unique cultural and spiritual relationships to the land, waters and seas.
FLT stands for Friendship, Love and Truth, which is the motto used by the Oddfellows, a friendly society who promote philanthropy and whose imagery is commonly used in tattooing. This name was chosen as a statement of intent to create an honest, friendly, comfortable and welcoming studio environment for clients and artists alike.
FLT Tattoo Studio is an intersectional feminist studio that strives to be an inclusive and safe space for as many people as possible, especially women and marginalised groups such as POC and LGBTQIA+ folk. We welcome all people here.
Being a private studio allows our artists to focus on producing high quality tattoos with excellent customer service in a relaxing environment. Each of our artists make beautiful custom and original pieces in their own unique styles. The studio is open plan but can offer privacy with screens for those who need it. FLT is currently located on the first floor which can make accessibility difficult for some people with injuries or disabilities, however, we can organise an alternative arrangement for those who need it.
The studio is open by appointment only.
To make an appointment please fill out the booking form on this site. For all other inquiries you can email us to firstname.lastname@example.org or contact the artists directly via email. Please allow up to two weeks for a response.
